The glass electrode grinder (needle grinder) is suitable for grinding glass microelectrodes, glass capillaries, microinjection needles, microtipette tips, microtipette tips, etc. It has high grinding accuracy and stable performance.

The needle grinder provides an optical plane grinding disc, and a liquid tube (glass microelectrode, microinjection needle, etc.) is placed in contact with the grinding disc under the microscope. By adding an appropriate amount of grinding slurry at a certain speed, the front end of the target object is made into a sharp needle tip, which can also be processed into different oblique angles. This type of microelectrode, microinjection needle, pipette, etc. processed by a needle grinder improves the linearity of the microelectrode, makes it easier for the injection needle to penetrate cells with less damage, and reduces burrs on the cut surface.
This needle grinder uses a special electric motor to reduce irregular movements on the grinding surface, and through accurate resolution methods, makes the contact grinding between glass microelectrodes and the grinding surface more accurate and stable. The adjustable grinding speed and high-performance operating motor ensure stable set speed regardless of low-speed or high-speed operation, ensuring uniformity and high repeatability of the processed experimental samples.


The needle grinder also provides a micro manipulator that allows for easy coarse and fine adjustment of microelectrodes in the vertical direction. At the same time, the microelectrode holder is equipped with a protractor, which can easily set the required grinding angle and other data.


This series of equipment is equipped with water and drainage modules to avoid clogging and accumulation of grinding debris in the system.

The EG-45 micro grinder uses a special motor that can miniaturize the irregular movement of the grinding surface, making it an ideal instrument for grinding micro pipette tips. In addition, the micro grinder EG-45 operates stably at all speeds, with higher accuracy at low speeds and faster grinding at high speeds. There is an easy to operate coarse and fine motion coaxial manipulator installed for vertically operating the microscope needle, which can perform very precise grinding. The protractor is installed in the fixed part of the needle holder, making it easy to set the required grinding angle, and an adapter for vertical grinding is also installed. New water filling and drainage machinery has been installed to prevent blockage or accumulation of shavings, making the entire equipment easier to use.

A microscope is installed on the EG-400 microelectrode grinder to confirm the contact between the electrode and the grinding disc. This grinder can provide stable performance at both high and low speeds. The EG-400 microelectrode grinder is equipped with a micro manipulator that allows for easy coarse and fine tuning of microelectrodes in the vertical direction.
